Potatoes are very useful when you are trying to get rid of dark spots on your skin as they have natural bleaching properties that can help lighten your skin tone easily. Potatoes must be cut into slices and grated to get juice. Apply the juice on the dark spots on your skin and leave it on for a few minutes. Wash it off afterwards.

Apple cider vinegar

Another natural ingredient that can help with dark spots is apple cider vinegar. All you have to do is mix equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl, mix well, and apply to the dark spots of your skin. You can also add a few drops of lemon juice as it has bleaching properties. Then rinse with lukewarm water, then apply moisturizer and serum.

Onions are a staple in many kitchens, and while they add flavor to your meals, especially stir-fries, you might be surprised to find that they can also help treat those dark patches of your skin. This is due to the acids in onions which can reduce the darkening of your skin tone. Just cut some onions into slices and rub it on the affected areas of your skin.

hydrogen peroxide

If you have a little hydrogen peroxide in your house, you should mix a teaspoon each of milk and hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Dip a cotton ball or cotton pad into the bowl and apply it to the dark spots on your skin. Leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it off afterwards using lukewarm water. Don’t forget to apply serum or moisturizer afterwards.

These natural remedies may help lighten your skin tone easily or with frequent use.
