You know what you like to see in a man. Many women like to see men with ripped arms, abs, and a fit physique. Part of this image is veined arms. If you exercise a lot and have muscular arms, your veins have to pump more blood. Because of this, it can look like you have a bunch of veins running through your arms. If you also have very little body fat, your veins will be more visible.
You know that most ladies love a muscular and athletic physique, but you are not sure if women are attracted to curvy arms. The good news is that most women would like to see veins on the arms of men. This is primarily because these veins occur when a man is particularly muscular and in good shape. Obviously it would be a little different if the man had very visible blood veins, but not in a good condition. Everyone likes something different, so there are always women who are attracted to unique or unusual features.
Curvy arms are attractive to women for one main reason: muscles. To get ruddy arms, you need to have a healthy level of body fat, a decent amount of muscle, and good overall health. If you are not in good physical condition, you will generally not get enlarged veins.
Most people consciously or unconsciously know that the venous arms are attached to some additional muscles. In addition to making you look good, there is an evolutionary reason why women are drawn to muscular men. Long ago, hunter-gatherers of the past had to protect themselves from invading tribes, dangerous animals, and everything in between. For this reason, women wanted mates who could protect them and their children. Muscular men tended to do better in the dating market at the time because they were able to take care of their family and partner.
While modern society is radically different from early humans, our bodies and minds are still connected to this earlier existence. Even though we know that intelligence is what really gets you ahead in life today, our minds still have a subconscious bias towards decent, attractive mates. Even today, there is still a good reason for that. In general, attractive mates who are physically fit are more likely to produce healthy babies. No one consciously thinks “I want a mate that will produce healthy, viable offspring,” but our psyche has evolved to have this goal in mind.
How do you get attractive, sweaty arms?
Now that you know that many women love venous arms, your next goal is to find a way to get the same attractive, muscular look. Fortunately, this is fairly easy to do if you’re already fairly healthy. A little extra exercise, a healthy diet, and a few simple changes can have your arms looking amazing in no time.
1. Workout time
You will never get attractive muscular arms unless you work out. And don’t just exercise your arms. Nothing looks worse than a guy with chubby arms and chest with chicken legs. Plus, it’s incredibly unhealthy to target just one part of your body. Exercising just one part of your body increases your chances of tearing a ligament or injuring yourself while exercising.
Instead, focus on a healthy and varied exercise routine. You’ll need to do cardio a few times a week to promote vascular health so that your heart can pump blood easily through your veiny arms. You can also do activities such as lifting weights to increase your muscle mass. While you shouldn’t just exercise your arms, you can focus a little bit on them. Be sure to do exercises that work your triceps, biceps and forearms. These exercises might include things like bench presses, pullups, forearm extensions, bicep curls, skull breaks, triceps extensions, and forearm curls.
2. You lose body fat
You will never see your venous muscles or arms if you have a lot of body fat. In order to have a six-pack, you’ll need to have less than 10-12 percent fat. The same goes for your arms. You won’t be able to see the veins or muscles in your arms unless you remove the fat that hides them. To make sure your venous arms appear, eat a healthy diet, drink plenty of water, and make sure you burn more calories than you consume.
3. Do fist exercises
If you want your veins to really pop, there are two words that can help: vasodilation and lean muscle mass. Fortunately, both of these goals can be obtained with grip exercises. If you’re not sure how to do it or how much you should do it, talk to a fitness instructor at a gym or visit a fitness website. Other options include gentle ones such as push-ups because this activity forces blood into the forearms immediately, although the veins will disappear once the heart rate returns to normal.
4. Skip the salt
Water retention is not your friend when it comes to developing venous arms. Salt exacerbates water retention causing your body to retain more water for a longer period. This water increases your body weight and also causes your skin to tighten and appear puffy. Too much water can cause your veins to darken and become blocked. You don’t have to (and shouldn’t) dry yourself off. Avoiding salt can reduce water retention problems. In addition, drinking plenty of water can reduce water retention. Your body retains water when it thinks it’s dehydrated, so drinking more water will actually reduce water retention.
Why are curvy arms attractive to women?
While this is not always the case, venous arms are certainly attractive to many women. With the right diet, a little exercise, and a little bit of time, you can ensure that your arms look muscular and sweaty, too.
